Dixit Dominus (E: "The Lord Said")는 구약 성경 시편 (Psalm) 제110장의 라틴어 텍스트를 사용했으며, SSATB 5명의 vocal soloists가 필요하다.

1. Chorus
Dixit Dominus Domino meo:
Sede a dextris meis, donec ponam inimicos tuos scabellum pedum tuorum.
The Lord said unto my Lord:
Sit thou on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy foot-stool.
1절 [다윗. 시편] 주님께서 내 주군께 하신 말씀.
“내 오른쪽에 앉아라, 내가 너의 원수들을 네 발판으로 삼을 때까지.”
2. Aria (alto solo)
Virgam virtutis tuae emittet Dominus ex Sion:
dominare in medio inimicorum tuorum.
The Lord shall send the rod of thy power out of Sion:
be thou ruler, even in the midst among thine enemies.
2절 주님께서 당신 권능의 왕홀을 시온으로부터 뻗쳐 주시리니
당신께서는 원수들 가운데에서 다스리소서.
3. Aria (soprano solo)
Tecum principatus in die virtutis tuae, in splendoribus sanctis.
Ex utero ante luciferum genui te.
In the day of thy power shall the people offer thee free-will offerings with an holy worship.
The dew of thy birth is of the womb of the morning.

Juravit Dominus et non paenitebit eum:
The Lord swore, and will not repent:

Tu es sacerdos in aeternum secundum ordinem Melchisedech.
Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedech.
“너는 멜키체덱과 같이 영원한 사제다.”

Dominus a dextris tuis,
confregit in die irae suae reges.
The Lord upon thy right hand,
shall wound even kings in the day of his wrath.

Judicabit in nationibus,
Implebit ruinas, conquassabit capita in terra multorum.
He shall judge the nations,
fill the places with destruction, and shatter the capitals in many lands.
6절 그분께서 민족들을 심판하시어
온통 주검들로 채우시고 넓은 들 위에서 머리를 쳐부수시리이다.

De torrente in via bibet,
propterea exaltabit caput.
He shall drink of the brook in the way,
therefore shall he lift up his head.
